LATESTTikun Olam 7 Aug. 2012 : Former Labor party minister, Uzi Baram, wrote a column in Yisrael HaYom today. What is most striking about the article is this:
Recently, I’ve come to believe that the leaders of the State have decided to act [attack Iran].
A trusted Israeli source tells me that Baram learned this from none other than a close confidant of Ehud Barak.  In other words, Barak has begun to tell his closest friends that Israel is going to war.

Summary: The Zionist AIPAC, which de facto decides US Policy and who is to be president, has just pressed  legislation on new sanctions amounting to a declaration of War on Iran through the US Congress, which is possessed by the Zionist Wall Street banksters. Although US experts do not believe in a war any time soon, the Mossad outlet, DEBKAfile writes that war is now inevitable, because Iran is preparing to enrich its uranium to 60 %. That Netanyahu tells US Secretary of Defence, Panetta, time is running out on Iran is not of much interest, as he has been saying so for years. A Former Mossad chief has just told Iran to be very worried about the next 12 weeks – which he would hardly have said, if Israel had been planning to attack. Israeli Defence Minister, Ehud Barak, declares that war with Iran, Syria and the Hezbollah will only cost 300 Israeli lives!!

What is worse is that Iranian supreme leader, Ayatollah Khamenei, has told his generals that there will be war within weeks, and that this was his last meeting with them before that war in Sept. or October. At the same time, the leader of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard expressed the concerns of the military brass over Iran´s economic situation: “It is a very sensitive stage”, he said. Will Iran soon act in dispair, mining the Strait of Hormuz?

DEBKAfile 5 Aug. 2012: An authoritative US military source told Debkafile Sunday, Aug. 5 that US armed forces stand ready for war with Iran. Without going into who would lead the operation to dismantle Iran’s nuclear program, the US or Israel, the US Air Force will undertake to destroy Iran’s Shehab-3 ballistic missile batteries aimed at Israel and Saudi Arabia. The Israeli Air Force would then be left free to tackle the huge rocket arsenals of Syria, the Lebanese Hizballah and the Palestinian Hamas and Jihad Islami.
I doubt that the West will attack Iran now – unless the Strait of Hormuz is being mined. The war will rather come from Syria. Obama wants to wait til after the US presidential election in November. Israel might attack shortly before to squeeze Obama to support it. The following is a timetable for war:

HAARETZ 3 Aug. 2012: Israel’s top military and intelligence echelon were “entirely against” launching a unilateral strike on distant and well-fortified Iranian targets that would pose an unprecedented challenge to their forces. Israel’s top ministerial forum, comprised of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s top eight minister, had not held a serious discussion concerning the Iranian standoff since late last year, an unnamed Israeli official told the Reuters news agency on Thursday (???)

On 31 July, the US Council for the National Interest brought the following letter from the Jewish AIPAC, governing the US Congress - a factual declaration of war against Iran:

The Bill H.R. 1905 was passed on 1 August. The Senate passed the same bill later in the day by unanimous consent.

DEBKAfile 24 May 2012Israel has withdrawn its pledge to US President Barack Obama not to strike Iran’s nuclear sites before the November presidential election after he rejected its minimal demands for nuclear negotiations with Iran. This is reported exclusively by debkafile’s Washington sources.
Global Research 22 May 2012:  On May 18, the House passed HR 4310: National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2013. Senate consideration comes next. Rep. Dennis Kucinich warned about Sections 1221 and 1222. They target Iran. They’re for offense, not defense.
Global Research 14 May 2012, Ron Paul: US Rep. presidential candidate  Mr. Speaker: I rise in opposition to HR 4133, the United States-Israel Enhanced Security Cooperation Act.
More than 20 years after the reason for NATO’s existence – the Warsaw Pact – has disappeared, this legislation seeks to find a new mission for that anachronistic alliance: the defense of Israel. Calling for “an expanded role for Israel within NATO, including an enhanced presence at NATO headquarters and exercises,” it reads like a dream for interventionists and the military industrial complex. As I have said many times, NATO should be disbanded not expanded.

Nevertheless, the Stars and Stripes on 3 August 2012 writes:  Nonproliferation experts and Middle East analysts are skeptical of Israeli claims that the Tehran regime is so close to building a nuclear weapon that time is running out for a peaceful resolution of the decades-long standoff. Jamal Abdi, policy director for the National Iranian American Council. sees the sudden flurry of diplomacy between Jerusalem and Washington as an outgrowth of the U.S. presidential campaign and Israeli interest in ensuring that the United States continues to hold a hard line against Iran.

U.S. Defense Secretary Leon E. Panetta was in Jerusalem on Wednesday to urge Israeli leaders to let negotiations and sanctions do their work before unleashing any military strike at facilities where Iran is suspected of enriching uranium or storing the processed fuel for potential upgrading to weapons’ quality. “According to the U.S. intelligence community, the Iranian leadership hasn’t even made the decision to weaponize their program.”

DEBKAfile 1 August 2012: Netanyahu tells US Secretary of Defence time on Iran is running out – as he has said so often before.

UPI 1. Aug. 2012: Last year, U.S. District Judge George Daniels found Iran, its Grand Ayatollah Ali Hosseini Khamenei and the regime’s Lebanese client, Hezbollah, aided al-Qaida, Osama bin Laden and the Taliban guilty of the Sept. 11 terror attacks.
A New York City judge awarded $6 billion to the families of Sept. 11, 2001, terror attack victims in their lawsuit against al-Qaida  and parties in Iran.
Comment: The money can be drawn from Iranian bank accounts in the US.
Funny since everything indicates Israel´s Mossad and the US government to be behind 9/11. There is no concrete evidence of the-US protected partner, Al Qaeda, which even acc. to the very US Council on Foreign Relations (article now essentially reduced for non-subscribers) is a weak,  impotent group of 200 incapable of doing terror outside Afghanistan – hiding in Pakistan and Yemen!,  and Iran beeing the culprits. Nevertheless, Al Qaeda was founded by the US CIA and government to fight Russia in Afghanistan – and serve the US as scapegoat in false flag operations. The US has even declared WWIII to be a war against Al Qaeda, to grant the US president unlimited right to declare war on any country he dislikes! Now Al Qaeda is the US/NATO partner in its conquest of Libya and Syria.

DEBKAfile on 3 August also brings an alarming report that Iran is now preparing to enrich its plutonium to 60%making war inevitable. DEBKAfile adds: Iran has launched a crash mega-fortification program for sheathing in steel and concrete nuclear facilities whose transfer to underground “immune zones” for escaping bombardment would be too costly, cumbersome and time consuming. If the US and Israel leaves Iran alone to complete this project, they will have forfeited the opportunity of pre-empting Iran’s nuclear programIsraeli-hawks

Haaretz 2 Aug. 2012:  Former Mossad chief and national security adviser Ephraim Halevy was quoted by the New York Times on Thursday saying that if he were Iranian he “would be very fearful of the next 12 weeks“.

Right: Israeli war hawks

The Jerusalem Post 3 Aug. 2012: Maj.-Gen. (res.) Aharon Ze’evi Farkash is worried. He thinks an attack on Iran is imminent - but premature. As a 40-year veteran of Israel’s intelligence service, Farkash bases his assessment on what he reads and hears between the lines in speeches given by the Israeli political leadership and primarily by Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Ehud Barak.

Haaretz 3 Aug. 2012: Acc. to Israeli Defence Minister, Ehud Barak, a war with Iran, Syria and the Hezbollah will only cost 300 Israeli lives!!

The Jerusalem Post 3 Aug. 2012:  Members of Iran’s top leadership brass on Friday expressed concern about the state of the Islamic Republic as its economy continues to spiral due to international sanctions. “We have reached a very sensitive and fateful stage,” said General Mohammad Ali Jafari, commander of Iran’s elite Revolutionary Guard Corp (IRGC), in a message posted on the IRGC website.

RIANOVOSTI 3 Aug. 2012:  The resignation of UN and Arab League envoy to Syria, Kofi Annan, “opens the gates” for backers of a military intervention into the Arab state to force out the ruling authorities, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Gennady Gatilov said on Friday.

DEBKAfile 1 August 2012: On July 27, just before Friday prayers, Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei summoned top Iranian military chiefs for what he called “their last war council.” “We’ll be at war within weeks,” he told the gathering, debkafile’s exclusive Iranian and intelligence sources disclose.

Present were Defense Minister General Ahmad Vahidi, Khamenei’s military adviser General Yahya Rahim-Safavi, Armed Forces Chief Major General Seyed Hassan Firuzabadi, Revolutionary Guards Corps commander General Mohammad Ali Jafari and Al Qods Brigades chief General Qassem Soleimani. The commanders of the Iron-domeair force, the navy and ground forces were also there.
Khamenei put before his war council a timeline of weeks for the coming conflict – September or October.

Haaretz 14 May 2012:  The Obama administration is expected to announce an additional $680 million in U.S. financial aid for Israel. Barak said on Independence Day last month that the U.S. aid means the Israel Defense Forces would be able to acquire a total of 10 Iron Dome batteries (right), along with thousands of intercepting missiles.
