ADDENDUM: Foreign Policy 20 July 2012: For the last six months, 40 senior representatives of various Syrian opposition groups have been meeting quietly in Germany under the tutelage of the U.S. Institute for Peace (USIP) to plan for how to set up a post-Assad Syrian government. The project is funded by the US State Dept and the Swiss Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as Dutch and Norwegian NGOs..The leader of the project, USIP’s Steven Heydemann, an academic expert on Syria, has briefed administration officials on the plan, as well as foreign officials, including on the sidelines of the Friends of Syria meeting in Istanbul last month. The project is called “The day after: Supporting a democratic transition in Syria.”….and the Syrians have identified priorities for things that need to be implemented now.”

USIP is the independent, nonpartisan conflict management center created by Congress . USIP leads the Libya Stabilization Team’s Civil Society Committee–constitution making, transitional justice, women rights, education.

DEBKAfile 22 July 2012: Debkafile´s military and intelligence sources report that Assad and his new command have already moved on and were busy with a tactical move in retaliation against Turkey for the assassinations at the top of Assad’s inner circle (i.a. hid MoD): They opened the door to an influx of rebels of the Turkish PKK (Kurdistan Workers Party) from Iraq into Syria’s northern Kurdish regions, with permission to set up bases of operation along the Turkish border. The PKK were quick on the draw: Friday, they blew up the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline carrying about a quarter of Iraq’s oil exports at the southeastern Turkish town of Midyat near the Syrian border.

Radio Denmark 22 July 2012: On Sunday, Turkey moved surface-to-air missiles and military transport vehicles down to the border with Syria and thereby increased its fighting capacity in the area, writes the Anatolian News Agency.

Jeremiah 49: 24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turneth herself to flee, and fear hath seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail. 25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy! 26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, saith the LORD of hosts. 27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.

We have heard this before: The NWO wants war to subdue a nation unwilling to submit to the corporate bankster regime. Now the Syrian chemical weapons are being focused upon – just as in the case of Saddam Hussein´s non-existing weapons of mass destruction before the 2. Iraq war. The dangerous prospect is founded on the UN´s Right to Protect – the excuse of the NWO to subdue all unwilling countries which could not be bullied by severing the fiat money of the Rothschild central banks.

Council on Foreign Relations´ President, Richard Haas, 19 July 2012:  “The peace plan under which Annan was operating had and has no chance of being accepted. It would be far better to terminate this effort and establish a new one with the mission of bringing about the exit of the current Syrian regime.

The United States and other like-minded governments should not equate the United Nations with multilateralism, nor should they see the UN as having a monopoly on legitimacy. To the contrary, they should form a coalition of the willing and able, composed of NATO countries, selected Arab governments, and others that are committed to increasing sanctions against not just Syria but those countries supporting it, building up the strength and political appeal of the Syrian opposition, pressing for war crimes indictments against Bashar al-Assad and his inner circle, planning for strikes against Syrian chemical munitions, and preparing for a post-Assad Syria. As hard as it is proving to bring about the regime’s downfall, it will likely prove far harder to manage a transition to something stable and democratic.

Now, the Council on Foreign Relations is the place where US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in her own words, is taking her orders

To the coalition of the willing certainly Israel, a de facto NATO member, belongs. And after the probably false flag operation against a bus full of Israelis recently in Bulgaria, Israel is beating the war drums against Syria – in particular after the Free Syrian Army recently killed i.a. the Syrian minister of defence – which caused an outcry by the West to punish– – – the Assad regime  by the current lack of logics. But, of course, Assad´s cousin, Makhlouf, has threatened to attack Israel should Assad´s regime be falling.

DEBKAfile 19 July: US and Israeli officials recently considered an Israel Air Force operation to destroy Syria’s chemical weapons stores, according to military sources in Washington, who did not reveal the outcome of their discussion.

Israeli-bus-bulgariaIsrael´s Minister of Defence, Ehud Barak, indicate an attack Syrian chemical weapons before they fall into the hands  of Hezbollah, which is now by the Pentagon (HAARETZ 20 July 2012) being accused of leaving its hallmarks on the Bulgarian suicide bus bombing. The US is dissuading Israel from attacking. Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu even knew a few minutes after the bombing that Hezbollah and Iran were behind it – without having made even a preliminary investigation. “We will pursue the attackers and extract a heavy price from those who sent them,” Netanyahu said, adding, “We will continue fighting Iranian terror, we will act against it with great force.” (HAARETZ 19 July 2012).

Bet he also knew about the bombing before it took place? Acc. to HAARETZ 19 July A senior source in Israel’s defense establishment said “Israel fears that Hezbollah was planning to attack an Israeli target abroad, but “we could not match that information to a specific place and time.”

HAARETZ 20 July 2012: New York police believe Iranian Revolutionary Guards or their proxies have been involved so far this year in nine plots against Israeli or Jewish targets around the world, according to restricted police documents obtained by Reuters.

But how many Iranian nuclear physicists has Israel killed? And how would Russia and China react to an attack on Syria?

In May 2012, Former Russian Pres. Medvedev warned that an attack on Syria or Iran could lead to nuclear war.

On 23 Febr. 2012 a former member of the Russian Joint Chiefs of Staff warned that an attack on Syria or Iran might be seen as an attack on Russia.
