The Blue card system was passed by the EU Parliament in a consultative vote on 20 Nov, 2008 - and will probably be voted upon by the European Council in early 2009.
I have previously described the EU´s so-called blue card and the plans to import 20 million Non-Westeners to substitute for a demographical lack of skilled labour over the the coming 20 years. However, it comes much worse.
The United Kingdom, Ireland, and Denmark would have the ability to opt out - but probably will do as usual: give in to the group pressure!
And I have described the worries among Europeans about this gigantic immigration in a time of economic recession – and coming increasing prices due to EUs plan to reduce CO2-emissions by 30% in stead of 20% in relation to the 1990 level by the year 2020.
However, this does not seem to be enough for the New World order-EU. It is now apparently going to increase the number of legal African immigrants (which skills?) to 56 mio by 2050!! Maybe even because the EU cannot stop the pressure from the ever poorer populations and uncontrolled birth rates in North Africa as warned by the UN.
I can only see this as a tribute to the initiator of the first European movement, Richard Coudenhove Kalergi, a founder of the European Parliamentary Union - the EU forerunner - who advocated the demise of the european race: "The man of the future will be of mixed race. Today's races and classes will gradually disappear owing to the vanishing of space, time, and prejudice. The Eurasian-Negroid race of the future, similar in its appearance to the Ancient Egyptians, will replace the diversity of peoples with a diversity of individuals."
The Pan European Union recently honoured this this racist prophet, whose book "Praktischer Idealismus" is banned in Germany
However, this is not enough for EU endeavours to promote Coudenhove Kalergis vision:
The Sunday Express Oct. 11, 2008: 56 million African workers are to be invited to Europe in a far-reaching secretive migration deal. A controversial taxpayer-funded “job centre” opened in Mali - just the first step towards promoting “free movement of people in Africa and the EU” – more than promised at the 6. Conference of the Euromediterranean Foreign Ministers in Naples on Dec. 2-3, 2003.
Brussels economists claim Britain and other EU states will “need” 56 million immigrant workers by 2050 to make up for the “demographic decline” due to falling birth rates and rising death rates across Europe. The report, by the EU statistical agency Eurostat, warns that vast numbers of migrants could be needed to meet the shortfall in two years if Europe is to have a hope of funding the pension and health needs of its growing elderly population.
The report, by French MEP Francoise Castex, calls for immigrants to be given legal rights and access to social welfare provision such as benefits.
Ms Castex said: “It is urgent that member states have a calm approach to immigration. To say ‘yes’, is not a new development, we must accept it. We need immigration." The proposals include the creation of a “blue card” system, based on the American green card, that provides full working and welfare rights. Blue card holders would be entitled to move freely across the EU, setting up home in any of the 27 member states.
Last night Sir Andrew Green, of Migration Watch UK said: “England, with Holland, is already the most crowded country in Europe. As it is, we have to build the equivalent of seven cities the size of Birmingham over 25 years for the immigrants the Government already expects."
“The Government must ensure that these work permits are not valid for the UK. “Higher levels of immigration are the last thing we need with a recession approaching.”
And Shadow Home Secretary Dominic Grieve said: “When ministers are talking tough about efforts to control immigration, they need to provide a clear explanation that national policy is not being undermined through the backdoor in Brussels.”
Thousands of migrants – like Kanoute Tieny from Mali – are being given up to £5,500 in grants by the EU to return home to Africa.
The UK Independence Party leader Nigel Farage attacked the move as “an outrage”. He said: “The sooner Britain gets back control of immigration policy, the better.” The proposals – part of the Africa-EU Partnership signed in Portugal last December – also warns of the negative effects of mass immigration and calls for “better integration of African migrants”.
It calls too for a compassionate approach to the eight million illegal immigrants already living in the EU. It states: “Irregular migrants must not be treated like criminals. Many risk their lives seeking freedom or the means of subsistence in Europe. As long as the EU has a higher standard of living than those countries to its south and east, the temptation to come will exist – especially if there are jobs to be had.”
The declaration calls on the EU to assist African governments to set up migration information centres “to better manage labour mobility between Africa and the EU”.
The first was the job centre opened in Bamako, capital of Mali, on Monday. Centres are expected to open soon in other west African states and later in north Africa.
Officially the legal immigration - the Blue Card System – is more acceptable than this secret disastrous planning of the demise of the white population of the EU
EU Parliament Press Release 14 Nov, 2008 : "Blue Card eligibility requirements:
An applicant must have found a job in the EU, and have at least five years' experience in the sector concerned or a university qualification recognised by the Member State. The applicant's contract must guarantee an income of at least 1.7 times the average gross salary in the Member State of residence, add MEPs in the committee, who stipulate that this salary must not be lower than that of a comparable worker in the host country.
It should not be granted to asylum applicants or third country nationals admitted to the Union as seasonal workers, as the latter are covered by a specific proposal for a directive, say MEPs in the committee.
The Blue Card will also entitle its holder to family reunification - his or her spouse would also be able to seek a job in the Union - and to social welfare coverage in the Member State concerned.
MEPs in the committee consider that Member States should be able to decide how many Blue Cards they wish to grant each year. The card should not be viewed as a "right" for migrants, and may be refused even where they meet the criteria.
National authorities must also be able to reject holders of Blue Cards granted by other Member States in favour of a national or Community solution, they say.
MEPs in the committee also say that Member States should not actively encourage the "brain draining" of third countries through the Blue Card in sectors where these countries suffer from labour shortages, particularly in the areas of health and education.
The UK and Ireland do not want to participate.
Speaking to EurActiv, Dutch MEP Jeanine Hennis Plasschaert, Liberal spokesperson on immigration, said the EPP's report lacked focus and would lead to "all kinds of restrictions and bureaucracy, rather than opening the doors to high-skilled workers."
Well, but on 25 Nov. 2008 it was written on the video text of DRTV1 that in the next 2 years there will be 8 mio more unemployed in the 30 OECD countries. So why bring millions of badly skilled African Muslims here, starting already now with recruiting stations?
Hurra for the economical crisis! It reduces the need of labour - and makes it unacceptable for EU citzens and politicians to import all those Muslim Africans.
This crisis alone can stop the eurocratic and political madmen/women driving the EU into disaster through an explosive immigration.
One could see the very restrictive Blue Card system as an illogical contradiction to the senseless import of 56 mio unskilled citizens from the poorest and most un-educated countries of the world. One could also see it as the hypocritical difference between the soothing assurances to the public and the real intensions of the EU illuminist world state protagonists
We have now for many years heard the Corporations and their bootlicking politicians "screaming" for labour - as though growth were a law of nature.
It is my opinion that when the labour resources of a country are exhausted you should stop producing there and export further production to developing countries with unoccupied labour - in stead of importing that labour - thus destroying our own culture and laying the foundation for still more poverty refugees..I even think it is very unhealthy for us to get richer than we now are. And the "labour" import means import of large families , too, for us to pay for making the gain rather negative, especially in times of recession - and creating parallel societies and violence, as we are witnessing more and more to our pain.
