"The American people were told they had a choice when they voted for President. But with precious few exceptions, Presidential candidates for decades have been CFR members.David Rockefeller is the most conspicuous representative today of the ruling class, a multinational fraternity of men who shape the global economy.

And when we change presidents, it is understood to mean that the voters are ordering a change in national policy. Since 1945, three different Republicans have occupied the White House for 16 years, and four Democrats have held this most powerful post for 17 years. With the exception of the first seven years of the Eisenhower administration, there has been no appreciable change in foreign or domestic policy direction. There has been a great turnover in personnel, but no change in policy.

1 The Secretary of State
In 1939, two members of the Council on Foreign Relations visited the State Department to offer the council's services. They proposed to do research and make recommendations for the department without formal assignment or responsibility, particularly in four areas - security armaments, economic and financial problems, political problems, and territorial problems.
The Rockefeller Foundation agreed to finance the operation of this plan.
  From that day forward, the Council on Foreign Relations has placed its members in policy-making positions with the State Department and other federal agencies.

 Every Secretary of State since 1944, with the exception of James F. Byrnes, has been a member of the council.
Almost without exception, its members are united by a congeniality of birth, economic status and educational background

They have no ideological anchors. In their pursuit of a New World Order, they are prepared to deal without prejudice with a communist state, a socialist state, a democratic state, a monarchy, an oligarchy - it's all the same to them.

Their goal is to impose a benign stability on the quarreling family of nations through merger and consolidation. They see the elimination of national boundaries, the suppression of racial and ethnic loyalties, as the most expeditious avenue to world peace.

They believe economic competition is the root cause of international tension.

To my mind, their aim would inevitably be accompanied by a loss in personal freedom of choice and re-establishment of the restraints that provoked the American revolution.

In 1962, Nelson Rockefeller, in a lecture at Harvard University on the interdependence of nations in the modern world, said: "And so the nation-state, standing alone, threatens in many ways to seem anachronistic."

The implications in Nelson Rockefeller's presentation have become concrete proposals advanced by David Rockefeller's newest international cabal, the Trilateral Commission.

2. US Presidents (Barry Goldwater): Since WWII, the CFR has filled key positions in virtually every administration since then. Furthermore, since Eisenhower, every man who has won the nomination for either party (except Goldwater in 1964 and Reagan in 1980) has been a member of the CFR:

At least nine (now 10) of them have been Council on Foreign Relations and/or Trilateral Commission members. Both Donald Rumsfeld and Robert Gates are CFRs.

CFR´s assertion that the  "Council has no connections with the US government" is laughable.

Edward Mandell House was a communist friend of Pres. Woodrow Wilson´s - and the grey eminence behind both the Federal Reserve and the Council on Foreign Relations. In his book Philpp Dru, he described.

Origin of the CFR
Paul Warburg, a founding member and a director of the Council on Foreign Relations. Together with Nelson Aldrich (David and vice-president Nelson Rockefeller´s maternal grandfather) and JP Morgan (Rothschild´US agent) He had also Founded the Federal Reserve in 1913.

The CFR emanated from The Royal Institute of International Affairs (Chatham House), london.

A subsidiary organization, the Institute of Pacific Relations, was set up to deal exclusively with Far Eastern Affairs. Other organizations were set up in Paris and Hamburg…

The 3,000 seats of the CFR quickly filled with members of America's elite. Today, CFR members occupy key positions in government, the mass media, financial institutions, multinational corporations, the military, and the national security apparatus.

Since its inception, the CFR has served as an intermediary between high finance, big oil, corporate elitists and the U.S. government. The executive branch changes hands between Republican and Democratic administrations, but cabinet seats are always held by CFR members. It has been said by political commentators on the left and on the right that if you want to know what U.S. foreign policy will be next year, you should read "Foreign Affairs" (CFR´s Magazine) this year.

The CFR's claim that "The Council has no affiliation with the U.S. government" is laughable.

Private organizations such as the Council on Foreign Relations, the Royal Institute of International Affairs, the Trilateral Commission, the Dartmouth Conference, the Aspen Institute for Humanistic Studies, the Atlantic Institute, and the Bilderberg Group serve to disseminate and to coordinate the plans for this so-called New World Order in powerful business, financial, academic, and official circles. . . ."

JP Morgan was a founder of both the Federal Reserve and the Council on Foreign Relations.
Business is always better in times of war! Therefore, an active foreign policy is desirable.

More on the origin of the CFR
According to Bill Clinton´s mentor , Carrol Quigley, JP Morgan, Rothschild´s US agent, was the driving force behind the Council on Foreign relations.

William Blase: Georgetown professor Dr. Carroll Quigley (Bill Clinton's mentor while at Georgetown) wrote about the goals of the investment bankers who control central banks: "... nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole ... controlled in a feudalist fashion by the central banks of the world acting in concert, by secret agreements arrived at in frequent private meetings and conferences

The Council on Foreign Relations was incorporated as the American branch of the Royal Institute of International Affairs in New York on July 29, 1921. Founding members included Colonel House, and "… such potentates of international banking as J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller, Paul Warburg, Otto Kahn, and Jacob Schiff … the same clique which had engineered the establishment of the Federal Reserve System," according to Gary Allen in the October 1972 issue of "AMERICAN OPINION."

Griffin spells it out from the words of the Insiders themselves. One source is the 1966 secret Hudson Institute study commissioned by Defense Secretary Robert McNamara, entitled Report From Iron Mountain.
This study coldbloodedly discusses various means by which government might control the populace and perpetuate itself in power in the absence of war (UN peace). Griffin’s review (with extensive quotes) of this truly diabolical Insider study is masterful; he takes it apart and shows us its consummate evil.

The study’s premise is that historically the only means by which a government has ever been able to "secure the subordination of citizens to the state" is war.  War is used to make the masses put up with all kinds of privation, taxation, and controls without complaint. No amount of sacrifice in the name of victory is rejected. Resistance is viewed as treason.


But, says Griffin, Report From Iron Mountain explains that the war system may have to be replaced because "it may now be possible to create a world government in which all nations will be disarmed and disciplined by a world army, a condition which we will call peace." In this case, what could be a substitute for war?

Here, explains Griffin, is the origin of the stratagem to promote ecological doom as the new enemy that threatens the entire world. The threat need not be real, provided the masses can be convinced it is real. Credibility is the key, not reality. Griffin writes that Report From Iron Mountain explains the avalanche of phony scientific claims that are uncritically publicized by the Insider-controlled media.

The barrage of propaganda has had a phenomenal result. Politicians are now being elected on nothing but "concern for the environment and a promise to clamp down on nasty industries," with no one caring about the damage done to the economy or our freedoms. Just as no sacrifice is too great in time of war, what happens to the economy or our freedom is of no consequence "when the very planet on which we live is sick and dying."

So, it seems that "Limits to growth" from the Club of Rome and Gorbachev´s, Steven Rockefeller´s and Maurice Strongs Earth Charter are just extensions to the "Report from Iron Mountain"
