Thessalonians 1, 5:3 “For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.”

HAARETZ 29 March 2012: At 8:58 P.M. on Tuesday, Israel’s 2012 war against Iran came to a quiet end. The war may not have been canceled but it has certainly been postponed. It won’t happen this year. Until further notice, Israel Air Force Flight 007 will not be taking off.

Thirty-eight minutes after that, Defense Minister Ehud Barak publicly thanked both Panetta and himself (”The decision was the result of contacts between the Defense Ministry and the Pentagon” ) – for strengthening Israel´s Iron Dome missile Defence.

When Barak thanked the Obama administration “for helping strengthen Israel’s security,” he was abandoning the pretension to act against Iran without permission before the U.S. presidential elections in November.

[1] HAARETZ 31 March 2012:  A Time Magazine report revealed on Friday that Israeli intelligence services have scaled back their covert operations inside Iran. Operations have been reduced in areas such as high-profile missions, including assassinations and detonations at Iranian missile bases, as well as in recruiting spies inside the Iranian nuclear program. An official credits the reduced activities to the reluctance of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who the official says is worried about the outcome of the operations being discovered.

[2] CBS 26 March 2012: Unaware that a microphone was recording him, President Barack Obama asked outgoing Russian President Dmitry Medvedev for “space” until after his re-election to negotiate on NATO’s planned missile defense system for Eastern Europe. “On all these issues, but particularly missile defense, this, this can be solved, but it’s important for him to give me space,” Mr. Obama told Medvedev.
“This is my last election,” President Obama said. “And after my election, I have more flexibility.”

Medvedev replied, “Yeah, I understand. I understand your message about space. Space for you.” The Russian leader responded, “I understand. I transmit this information to Vladimir.”
