Summary: This is a survey of the latest military developments in the Midddle East. The war preparations are rapidly progressing towards a climax. Syria is desperately rushing Russian Yakhont and Scud missiles to the Turkish border as well as to the coast and concentrates tanks on the Jordanian border, whereto US special units have been commanded from Iraq, since the US has shut its engagement in Iraq down to 2 bases. Thereby, so says the Washington Times, the Americans have made the air space over Iraq open for Israeli attacks on Iran - and vice versa, since Iraq and the US can only follow what happens but have no weapons to stop the attack waves.

Israeli Intelligence and the British government say war will erupt between Mid-December and Mid-January. Russia apparently also expects intervention in Syria soon and tries to gain time, presenting for the first time a resolution draft to the UN Security Council in which it blames the Syrian government for “unproportional use of power” - but does not even suggest sanctions.

3 events have made the question of war and peace in the Middle East urgent: 1. On 4 Dec. Iran took an intact US drone through cyber warfare. This machine contains both valuable technical information - but in particular the nuclear goals destined for US/Israeli attacks. 2. The UN Human Rights Council has launched a strongly biased report based on oppositional testimonies. In it and in an interview the UN Council demands immediate intervention in Syria - and has sent the report to i.a. the UN secretary general. 3.In the beginning of November, the IAEA stated that Iran was apparently proceeding to the production of a nuclear bomb. Iran has then declared to have moved its nuclear facilities underground where no one can control what is going on. However, the US has developed the MOP Superbunker Buster, which penetrates 60 feet of concrete before it explodes. Also, nuclear weapons will probably do the job.

Defense Minister Ehud Barak is in Washington for meetings with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, National Securit y Advisor Tom Donilon and Congressional leaders. The Israeli Intelligence thinks the unusually powerful US and Russian naval buildups in the waters around Syria and Iran are in expectation of regional war. Neither the United States nor Russia would have concentrated two powerful fleets in the proximity of Syria and Iran unless they were certain a military conflagration was imminent.

The following is a survey of the latest military developments in the Middle East. Much points to a climax of the crescendo. In particular, the Syrian desperado,   Pres. Assad  could make good on his threatening to attack Israel, as his domestic and international problems are growing.
Knowing that the scenario is the fulfilment of Biblical prophecy, Wolfgang Eggert: “Apocalypse. NO!” and video (German) and here, the sign of the chain reaction released would be the fulfilment of Isaiah 17 – Damascus being leveled with the ground. I shall enter on what I intend to do should it go that far.

Now a US Judge  has ruled Iran connected to 9/11 - an Insider  false flag job, and  here. This points to a fictitious  cause for war against Iran- as against  Afghanistan, Irak and Libya.

Russia trying to gain time to avert an immediate intervention in Syria – presenting a new Resolution draft in the UN´s Security Council
Assad-angelDeutsche Welle 16 Dec. 2011: The text condemns the violence from both sides, but includes a reference to “disproportionate use of force by Syrian authorities.” It does not, however, call for sanctions. The new text singles out the Syrian authorities “in a number of instances,” according to Russia’s UN Ambassador Vitaly Churkin and has raised hopes that the council can find consensus and issue its first resolution of Syria’s nine-month crackdown on protesters.

The latest developments
On 5 dec. 2011 DEBKAfile (Israeli intelligence outlet) wrote: Israel and Syria Brace for Regional War between Mid-Dec. 2011 and mid-Jan 2012. The Daily Mail 10 Nov. 2011: Sources say the understanding at the top of the British Government is that Israel will attempt to strike against Iran´s nuclear sites ‘sooner rather than later’ – with logistical support from the U.S. A senior Foreign Office figure has revealed that ministers have been told to expect Israeli military action, adding: ‘We’re expecting something as early as Christmas, or very early in the new year.’

The Washington Times 14 Dec. 2011. The U.S. military’s fast-approaching Dec. 31 exit from Iraq, which has no way to defend its airspace, puts Israel in a better place strategically to strike Iran’s nuclear facilities. Retired Air ForceGen. Thomas McInerney, who advocates a U.S. strategic bombing raid to destroy Iran’s nuclear sites, agreed that Iraq’s open airspace would make it easier for an Israeli mission. “Yes, it will be,” he said. “However, it will be much easier for Iranian forces to get to Israel through Iraq via land and air.”Syrian-scuds

Debkafile 16 Dec. 2011 military and intelligence sources report that the rush of Syrian war moves backed by Russia indicates that both believe a Western-Arab force is on the point of invading Syria. They are keeping an eye especially on Turkey. Now Syria is deploying Russians Yakhont and Scud missiles on its seashore and on the Turkish border.

Reuters 8 Nov. 2011: Iran has been working on developing a nuclear bomb design and can be conducting research on such weapons, the IAEA said in its fullest and most severely taken report on the military dimension of Tehran’s nuclear program. “The Agency has serious concerns. The data has shown that the Iran ´s activities, which are relevant for the development of a nuclear explosive device, have  been performed.”

DEBKAfile 8 Dec. 2011: The top-secret US stealth drone RQ-170 Sentinel captured on Sunday, Dec. 4 was not shot down but brought in undamaged by an electronic warfare ambush. Senior Israeli diplomatic and security officials who followed the discussion in Washington concluded that, by failing to act, the administration has left Iran with the data stored in its computer cells on targets marked out by the US and/or Israeli for attack. Debkafile’s military sources say that this knowledge compels the US and Israel to revise their plans of attack for aborting the Iranian nuclear program. The decision the US took against mounting a mission to recover or destroy the top-secret Sentinel was perceived in Israel as symptomatic of a wider decision to call off the covert war America has been conducting for some months against Iran’s drive for a nuclear bomb.

The New American 14 December 2011: Former Vice President Dick Cheney said in an interview with CNN News that the United States should have taken military action to destroy the plane before the Iranians could gather critical intelligence and technological data from it.

DEBKAfile 15 Dec. 2011Iran announced on Wednesday, Dec. 14, that it had completed the transfer of its nuclear facilities underground, including its uranium enrichment centrifuges, and that the Iranian nuclear program was now safe from US and Israeli attack. And if circumstances demand it, uranium enrichment facilities would be placed in more secure locations - a contradiction!).
Israeli Defense Minister Barak has repeatedly warned that once it was buried in underground bunkers, Iran’s nuclear infrastructure could no longer be attacked; nor would it be possible to find out what was happening there.

Then, Monday, Dec. 12, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Strategic Affairs Moshe Ya’alon said, “Iran will acquire military nuclear capability within months.”

Jerusalem Post 15 Dec. 2011: Iranian nuclear scientists at the Fordow facility appear to be within weeks of producing 20 percent enriched uranium, according to Iran analysts and nuclear specialists who are in close communication with US officials and atomic inspectors. Enriched uranium may be further processed into atomic weapons material.“Senior advisers to US President Barack Obama privately express concern that Israel might see Iran’s commencement of the Fordow facility” as a justification for a military strike, said Karim Sadjadpour, an Iran analyst at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace in Washington who has frequent discussions with the White House.
Sadjadpour said some White House officials are questioning whether Iran is trying to provoke a prearranged Israeli strike as a way to rally support and sympathy at home and abroad.

US officials say they are in close consultation with Israel, European allies and inspectors over sensitive activities at Fordow. Defense Minister Ehud Barak is in Washington for meetings with US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, National Security Advisor Tom Donilon and Congressional leaders. Dennis Ross, who was until last month special assistant to  Obama and National Security Council senior director for the region including Iran, said yesterday Israel has reason to be concerned about enrichment at Qom. On 15 Dec. 2011, the US officially concluded its war in Iraq after 4.500 American lives were lost there – “bringing the troops home for Christmas” (The Independent 15 Dec. 2011). But some of them have brought to Jordan: DEBKAfile 13 Dec. 2011: Since 12 dec. US special forces from Iraq are being deployed in Jordan near the Syrian border - opposite to Syrian tank concentrations.
US Defence Secretary, Leon Panetta: “Let me be clear: Iraq will be tested in the days ahead — by terrorism, and by those who would seek to divide, by economic and social issues, by the demands of democracy itself.” The military still has two bases in Iraq and roughly 4,000 troops.

If Iran´s nuclear facilities have gone safely underground, they would be difficult to destroy. However, nuclear bombs can destroy deeply – as can the US new superbombs, the MOP super-bunkerblasters penetrate 60 feet of concrete (video above).

Jordan´s King Abdullah asks the UK to take the lead against Syrian Assad regime. The scenario more and more looks like the one leading to the Libyan intervention. See video below.

10 Signs that the “big bloody war in the Middle East wanted by “our” politicians, media, and banksters, i.e the Bilderbergers in June 2011 is on the way. An attack on Iran´s nuclear facilities (DEBKAfile 1 Dec. 2011) have been postponed time and again – while there may be more appetite for imminent attack on Syria by some NATO countries. However, this will probably lead to war with – Iran and possibly Russia, too.

1. Immediate intervention was recently demanded – by High Commissioner Navi Pillavi of the UN´s Human Rights Council. It decided to transmit the Commission of Inquiry report to the United Nations Secretary-General for appropriate action and transmission to all United Nations relevant bodies.
2. An impressive Syrian demonstration of its ability to ward off an attack on Syrian soil by turning a defensive array into an offensive push for taking the battle over into the aggressor’s territory was held this weekend.
3. Netanyahu, referring to Ben Gurion and the 1. Israeli Arab war: “I want to believe,” he said, “we will always have the courage and resolve for the right decisions to safeguard our future and security.” Defense minister Ehud Barak, who was standing behind the prime minister’s shoulder, was as tense as a coiled spring.
4. The unusually powerful US and Russian naval buildups in the waters around Syria and Iran. Neither the United States nor Russia would have concentrated two powerful fleets in the proximity of Syria and Iran unless they were certain a military conflagration was imminent.
5. The Telegraph 6 Dec. 2011: Iran´s Revolutionary Guard prepares for war. A senior Western intelligence official said: “There is deep concern within the senior leadership of the Iranian regime that they will be the target of a surprise military strike by either Israel or the US. Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have been put on a war footing amid increasing signs that the West is taking direct action to cripple Iran’s nuclear programme.
6. The Arab League has excluded Syria .
7. USA´s “invisible government”, the Council on Foreign Relations´Foreign Affairs 9 Nov. 2011: Why Obama Should Take Out Iran’s Nuclear Program. The Case for Striking Before It’s Too Late.
8.
DEBKAfile 28 Nov. 2011 (closely affiliated to Israeli intelligence): A group of military officers from NATO and Persian Gulf nations have quietly established a mixed operational command at the Turkish Hatay province on the border of North Syria. Their mission is to set up “humanitarian corridors” inside Syria to serve the victims of Bashar Assad’s crackdown.
9. EUObserver 15 Nov. 2011: French foreign minister Alain Juppé said the UN should consider sending peacekeepers: “We should think how to protect the civilian population, for example by intervention of observers from the United Nations. We are already to discuss this with the Syrian opposition council and with the UN.”
10. Iranian officials have held talks with Syrian opposition leaders, in a further sign of the growing isolation of the regime of the President, Bashar al-Assad (The Sydney Morning Herald 16 Nov. 2011).
