What makes such a prominent personality issue such an alarming statement right now?
At the beginning of the month of June, 2008, the Israeli Airforce held a maneouvre with over 100 aircraft  in the Eastern Mediterrean and Greece, drilling  an  attack on a target as far away as the Iranian Natanz nuclear plant . US government spokesmen said this was a clear signal to Iran.
The Hamburger Abendblatt will know that the attacks on various nuclear plants will take place by means of small nuclear bombs - and very soon, since the Iranian nuclear plants are being equipped with  Russian high-tech anti-aircraft missiles.

As previously stated on this blog, former German Foreign Minister, Joschka Fisher, Distinguihed Diplomat to the Rockefeller-US Council on Foreign relations as well as George Soros´ cofounder of the European Council on Foreign Relations, has foretold an Israeli attack on Iran in the near future.

Under the headline: "Merkel wants war" the "Neue Rheinische Zeitung" quotes bilderberger (2005), Chancellor Angela Merkel as saying: "Iran has transgressed the red line".

Statements from Israeli Vice-prime Minister  Mofaz ,  and also Foreign Minister Liwni and Prime Minister Olmert more than indicate that there will be an Israeli attack on Iran before the end of President Bush jr.´s  presidency.

And Pres. Bush seems willing to  accept a military strike on Iran. And no wonder, for “President George W. Bush has sparked much alarm by openly declaring himself to be a dictator in the event of a national emergency under new provisions that will effectively nullify the U.S. constitution, but such an infrastructure has been in place for over 70 years and this merely represents a re-authorization of the infrastructure of martial law”

Former israeli top general Dani Yatom: "A military operation is needed if the world wants to stop Iran." 

The one question over which Israel's various political groups disagree is the timing of an attack. The doves argue that diplomatic efforts by the United Nations should be allowed to continue until Iran is on the verge of completing the bomb.

The hawks, on the other hand, believe time is running out. They stress that there is now a "favorable window of opportunity" that will close with the US presidential election in November, and that Israel can only depend on American support for as long as current US President George W. Bush is still in charge in Washington
Pres. Bush jr.:” There's a lot of urgencies when it comes to dealing with Iran, and the Israeli political folks … if you go to Israel and listen carefully, you'll hear that urgency in their voice”.
Many think the real purpose of Pres. Bush´s visit to Israel in June, 2008, was Iran - and not just a farewell visit.

All experts agree that the Iranian bomb doesn't yet exist.
Even the head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mohamed ElBaradei, voiced in a recent SPIEGEL interview  his concern that Iran is sending out the message that it could "build the bomb in a relatively short period. And no one knows better than the Israeli leadership just how much power lies in the mere belief that a country has nuclear weapons.

In a recent letter to Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer, Israeli Defense Minister Ehud Barak wrote that Tehran is not far from the "point of no return" at which the Israelis believe Iran could no longer be prevented from developing a bomb. Israeli intelligence officials believe that Iranian weapons engineers could have enough enriched uranium to build a nuclear warhead by 2009.

Another indication of upcoming hard times is the fact that Iran has witdrawn its money, about 75 million dollars, home  from European Banks

How can Iran retaliate an Israeli attack?
Of course it can block the Hormuz Strait thus creating a heretofore unseen oil crisis.

It can attack US war ships in the Gulf

Years ago there were rumours that  Iran had nuclear warheads – bought from Khazakstan after the dissolution of the Soviet Union. However, I guess the Mossad would have known - and that in that case Iran would already have staged a surprise attack on Israel.
I think it is more likely that the Iranians will attack the "Big Satan", the USA, in Iraq.

Besides, President Putin has warned against any attacks against his ally, Iran.

Now, why is this of concern to us Europeans?
 1. The NATO will most likely  be involved in this confrontation

2. Since 1995 the Euromediterranean Project is developing more and more into the “Union for the Mediterranean” to be launched in Paris on July 13-14, 2008.
This blog has extensively described the wherabouts of this secret project. Israel is a member of the upcoming Union. This means the EU is becoming part of the permanent Middle East crisis – and directly involved in its probably nuclear war conclusion.

Despite intense lobbying by Egypt and the Palestinian Authority, the European Union on Monday - in a sign of vastly improved European-Israeli relations over the last few years - agreed to a significant upgrade of relations.

 Israeli-EU relations will be upgraded in three areas:
A.increased diplomatic cooperation: there will be increased meetings between government ministers, senior officials and parliamentarians from both sides.
B. Israel's participation in European plans and agencies;
C. examination of possible Israeli integration into the European single market. .
These negotiations seem to have taken place at EU-Commission level - without the knowledge og the EU Parliament!

The EU is consequently deeply involved in the upcoming Middle East  disaster. Why?
The EU has declared itself to be illuminist (explanatory statement) with cosmopolitan interests in extending its sway beyond the borders of Europe. It probably cannot do so openly due to popular European opposition.

Illuminism is a Luciferian,  Antichristian movement, the goal of which is the corporate multicultural world state.
